New Music Video: "Lend Us Your Heart"
“Then the LORD God said to the serpent:
"Because you have done this, you shall be
banned from all the animals and from all the wild creatures; On your belly
shall you crawl, and dirt shall you eat all the days of your life. I will put
enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; He will
strike at your head, while you strike at his heel."
-
Genesis 3:14-15
The Title:
This piece of music
and video was inspired by years of meditation with the Blessed Virgin Mary and
triggered by the motto of the new Bishop Andrew Cozzens, “Lend Us Your Heart.”
Why Bishop Cozzens? Two reasons. One, he is a friend
and two, he is a personal example of Marian Devotion.
What is Comet ISON?
Many people today
are interested in the “Comet of the Century”, Comet ISON. This comet has an interesting path through
our skies that correlates with the Catholic calendar.
Objects from
the “Oort Cloud” – Comets, orbit the Sun
over long periods of time. As comets get
closer to the sun they become more luminous.
They emit gas and dust that gets blown by the solar wind away from the
Sun, this is what we call the tail of the comet.
Comets do not
always make it around the Sun (perihelion) . Sometimes they get pulled apart
and fall into the Sun. There are high hopes that ISON will make it around the
Sun and give us an amazing display.
Back in September,
it parallel with the planet Mars from the constellation Cancer. Once the comet reached the heart of the
constellation Leo it became visible to armature observers. At this point it became brighter and
brighter as it passed through the constellation Virgo. It has passed through the constellation
Libra joining the planets Saturn and Mercury just before November 28
(Thanksgiving U.S.A.) when it makes its way around the Sun in the constellation
Scorpio.
Planets and the meaning of their names:
Mars: Roman God of
War
Mercury: Speedy
Messenger
Saturn: The Sickle
Constellations: Leo
(Lion)
Virgo (Vigin)
Libra (Scales)
Scorpio ('the (creature with) a burning
sting, Serpens Caput (Head of the
Serpent)

“A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the
sun,
with the moon under her feet,
and on her head a crown of twelve
stars.
She was with child and wailed
aloud in pain as she labored to give birth.
Then another sign appeared in the
sky;
it was a huge red dragon, with
seven heads and ten horns,
and on its heads were seven
diadems.
Its tail swept away a third of
the stars in the sky
and hurled them down to the
earth.” -Rev 12

These are all are significant feasts of the
Blessed Virgin Mary whom Catholics
believe is the women for-told in Genesis who’s off-spring (the Son of God)
together with her crushes the head of the serpent.
Prayer on the “Miraculous Medal”:
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who
have recourse to thee!
Lastly, I have come to see Mary as the Mother and Queen of the
Universe. The miraculous image of Our
Lady of Guadeloupe, prominently displayed in this music video is that
image; an image given us by the Father
in heaven of his beloved daughter. She
is the image of what we will enjoy in the resurrection of the body, not bound
by space and time and in constant communion with the Father, Son and Holy
Spirit! Her body is a blue print of the final
mysteries of our Faith and a map of the beautiful system of celestial bodies
that point us to her first love, God.
Peace be with you! Please share
what you have learned and pass on the Music Video! J - Justin
